Resistance: Burning Skies Coming Summer 2012
When Sony first announced Resistance: Burning Skies, there was hope that the game would make it in time for PlayStation Vita’s U.S. launch, which we now know is February 22, 2012.
According to the company’s website, we’ll just have to wait a bit longer.

Turns out, Burning Skies won’t debut until Summer 2012. That may be a bit of a disappointment but I look at it as a very good thing. The Vita will have plenty of quality titles at launch so that will make not having Resistance available much easier to handle.
Plus, there have been many gamers who have been disappointed with some of the details surrounding the graphics and gameplay. Now, we’re learning, that the developer has another 8 months or so to tweak the game and make sure everything is looking, and running, smoothly. That can only mean great things for gamers who are anticipating this title.

I the interview, Huebner goes into details about Nihilistic’s relationship with the creators of the Resistance universe, Insomniac. Other details include where Burning Skies fits into the storyline of Resistance and how they’re taking advantage of the Vita’s unique controls.
